Large Samsung Galaxy Note 9 update brings September security patch
Last updated: September 16th, 2019 at 16:34 UTC+01:00
After the Galaxy Note eight and the Galaxy S9 serial, the Galaxy Note 9 is now next in line to receive a new update introducing the September 2019 security patch.
The update carries firmware version N960FXXU3CSI3 and is available in the netherlands, Switzerland, Romania, and a few other European countries at the moment. Despite the update weighing a hefty 663MB, the changelog looks rather generic. It only mentions amend security along with obscure operation improvements to the camera.
A big update that doesn't have a lot to show for itself
Samsung seems to have built a addiction of repeating the aforementioned changelog for the Milky way Notation 9 once every 2 major software releases; therefore, we wouldn't be surprised if the camera experience on last year's flagship telephone has remained the same following this latest update.
For now, we tin can confirm that Galaxy Annotation 10-specific features like AR Putter didn't brand information technology into this update. Likewise, there is no Live Focus Video or Link to Windows, and then at this moment it's rather hard to explain why this release weighs more than 660MB. Nosotros couldn't find any meaningful changes, simply we will keep to investigate and update this story every bit we find out more.
Until then, if y'all're a Milky way Annotation 9 possessor, you should receive an update notification at any moment, assuming you oasis't already. Alternatively, y'all can try to trigger the update manually by opening Settings, navigating to Software update and tappingDownload and install. Feel free to leave a comment and let us know if y'all've found any new features that take not been mentioned in the changelog.
